After years of budget cuts, most of our students have no access to medical care or counseling services during the school day and library hours at their schools have been cut back dramatically, but there is a new initiative in Sacramento that could help change that. It’s called "Healthy Kids, Healthy Minds" and would be implemented through Assembly Bill 1955.
