Deconstructing the propaganda
Palin's speech was angry, dismissive, hostile, snarky, and content-free. Her attack on Democrats for wanting to raise taxes exhibits extreme hypocrisy after the Republican looting of America's treasury and financial future for the past 7 years. We must pay the darn bills rather than mortgage our grandchildren's future.
Republicans took the surplus which was Clinton's legacy and drove it into catastrophic deficits. Republicans have squandered America's reputation in the world. Republicans have eroded the middle class and American jobs, subsidizing the outsourcing of jobs. Republicans want to legislate our sexuality. Republicans have lavished big business with record corporate welfare. Palin's ultra-partisan speech will do nothing to draw in independents. Phooey on having a former runner-up for Miss Alaska sneer at me.
