What is Up With Dianne?

I thought that I was alone in my thoughts about Dianne's voting record. I am so happy to find the Courage Campaign.
Dianne and her husband have reaped the rewards of her vote for Mr. Bush's tax cut give away to the wealthy. How much is she saving each year because of her vote? Has anyone asked her publicly? I know my three hundred dollars came in handy. Has she ever explain how this hugh give away has helped the country and the people of California? This seems to be something that never comes up. I wonder why? I will write an email to her on her website and ask her. Although she has never answered the last two letters I sent her. I have received the form letters that her staff sends out and they usually tell me how concerned she is but they never answer any of the questions I ask of her.
I have an idea. She does a breakfast with Dianne and I think we should get a large group together and have a chat with her over coffee. I think it might be fun and we could ask her personally the real questions that she needs to answer. I am sure she would love to have true patriotic California Democrats stop by. Does anyone else think this is a good idea? Here is the website if you want ot make a reservation for a breakfast date with Dianne.

Mr. Torres, I am so amazed that he did not want to talk about the censure of Dianne. I am sixty one and have been a life time Democrat, what is Mr. Torres afraid of? I think I will write to him and see what he has to say. I hope he is not as impolite as Diane and never write back to me. Do you think that either one of them even read any of it. I will let you know if I get an answer.

Anderson - Senator Feinstein's vote on the Judiciary Committee to approve Attorney General nominee Michael Mukasey was the final straw for me. It caused me to start looking into her recent past where I discovered that she and her husband, Richard Blum have profited mightily from the Iraq War. I'm hopeful that Keeping them Honest will launch an investigation into Senator Feinstein's activities. So far neither the Senate nor the mainstream media will has done anything about this situation. Below are just a few articles I have found that look into her War Profiteering and her reasons for keeping the War on Terror going forever!
I'd be happy to further research this story if you need additional information to begin an investigation. From MetroActive Link "As a member of the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee, Sen. Feinstein voted for appropriations worth billions to her husband's firms." From MetroActive Link "Turns out Senator Dianne Feinstein isn't the only one in her family with an ethics problem" From CounterCurrents Link "Senator Dianne Feinstein's husband, Richard Blum, could well be called the Democrats' Daddy Warbucks. He's scored bundles from war contracts." From MetroActive Link "SEN. Dianne Feinstein has resigned from the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee. As previously and extensively reviewed in these pages, Feinstein was chairperson and ranking member of MILCON for six years, during which time she had a conflict of interest due to her husband Richard C. Blum's ownership of two major defense contractors, who were awarded billions of dollars for military construction projects approved by Feinstein." From CNS News Link "(CNSNews.com) - Government watchdog groups want more answers as to why Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) stepped down from a military appropriations subcommittee at a time questions were being asked billions of dollars in federal
defense contracts going to her husband's companies." There is a good reason why there has not been any investigation about Senator Feinstein's conflict of interest. First of all, she is the Chairman of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee which, among others, investigates corruption. Link Secondly, the Senate Ethics Committee is chaired by California's other Senator, Barbara Boxer. Link You may want to read the Conflict of
Interest portion of the Ethics Manual. Link Last Saturday, during the Iowa Democratic Fund Raiser, Nancy Pelosi complained about Haliburton and others, but, of course, never mentioned Feinstein. Corruption is a problem with both Republicans and Democrats.
