Monday, 12 August 2013 -- On Tuesday, August 13th, six out of the the seven bills making up the Lifesaving Intelligent Firearms Enforcement (LIFE) Act will be heard in the State Assembly’s Public Safety Committee. As Assemblymembers prepare to vote, the California-based is launching a new website, The LIFE Lantern, to shine a light on each Assemblymember, their history of voting on gun safety bills, their grade from the National Rifle Association (NRA) and whether or not they are committed to supporting the LIFE Act.

The sterilizations were not medically necessary and the victims report that they were coerced into the procedure.
